Last month Bangkok participated in a worldwide art project, Inside Out. Residents were encouraged to send in their pictures which were then plastered across public spaces in the city, effectively reclaiming the city for its local residents.
I thought it was an interesting and cute idea, and I was glad to see remnants of it all over town, from a well-preserved wall along Surawong Road to the more forlorn stretch outside a demolition job at Washington Square.
