Bjork’s mutual core

17 11 2012

Poor Bjork.

So consistently amazing has her output been over the years, that its hard for her to maintain the momentum. Last year she produced the ground-breaking ‘Biophilia’ album – the world’s first iPad suite album – and invented a brand new instrument, the Gameleste. It was mostly met with an admiring shrug by the rest of the world, before humanity turned the radio back to Carly Rae Jepson.

Not that she seems to care, though. This week, Bjork unveiled her latest video at Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. The video for ‘Mutual Core heralds a remix album called ‘Bastards’.

The visuals come courtesy of Andrew Huang, recruited by Bjork after seeing his stunning short film, the Sollipsist, below.
