School camp

As Autumn falls over Hong Kong – the nights now chilly – the hiking season returns and I headed out, as I have done for the last four years, into the wilderness for school camp. We stayed at a lovely base in Sai Kung and spent days climbing rocky mountains and looking out over the islands and inlets – an incredible tapestry of greens and blues, huddling in a tent at night by Wong Shek pier, sipping furtive lattes in Sai Kung’s town square and quietening down rowdy kids at night in mouldy dorms.  All in all, a great camp!
